I still can't decide... I'm quite liking the look of the drobo at the minute as a backup /extended storage device... But I keep flipping back occasionally and deciding I'd still quite like a machine with a DVD drive in it so I could backup the data on it and take the disks to an offsite location! If I do I'd go for the uber-easy option (which coincidentally is the more expensive option) a HP Media Smart Server. I really like the idea of streaming my iTunes, accessing files and programs remotely and being able to backup the PC and laptops. Keep us updated on your decision.
